  A bit of vanilla and dark fruits on the nose. Full bodied, smooth and elegant, showing some vanilla and smooth dark fruit with excellent acidity and firm tannins. A bit of heat on the finish. This was just great in a flight of several wines in a Veneto tasting.

  The wine presents itself with a beautiful garnet color of good transparency. On the nose, an important evolution is immediately noticeable, with many tertiary notes, as well as dark fruit jam, dried plum, dried violets and iris, a lovely spicy component of juniper and cardamom surrounds and refines a nose that also features a lot of wood and undergrowth. In the mouth, it reveals all its years with an almost completely evolved tannin and a structure and persistence that I expected to be more engaging. For me, it's already showing signs of its decline, to be enjoyed in the next couple of years.
  
  il vino si presenta di un bel colore granato pieno di buona trasparenza. Al naso si nota subito una evoluzione importante, tanti terziari ma anche frutti scuri in confettura, prugna secca, viole e iris essiccate, una bella componente speziata di ginepro e cardamomo contorna e cesella un naso che presenta anche tanto legno e sottobosco. In bocca fa sentire tutti i suoi anni con un tannino quasi del tutto evoluto e una struttura e persistenza che mi aspettavo più coinvolgenti. Per me già in vista del suo declino, da bere nei prossimi 2 anni.

  Flat out delicious! Chocolate covered cherries, baking spices, maybe a pomegranate, with a fig preserve. Really like! Nice and well hidden 15.5%

  appearance is dark and opaque. enticing fruit forward nose of currant, raisin, plum, chocolate and spice. palate is smooth and silky, perfectly balanced. a nice level of sweetness and some woody spicy notes make themselves apparent as well. this will be good for a number of years but is drinking beautifully at the moment.
