Monday, December 20, 2021 - I got this 10 years ago, then forgot about it until recently. The cork crumbled badly - my fault for treating it like a younger bottle - so I've been constantly dodging cork bits while drinking this (even with a filter!). The color seems to be just starting to brick, with thin edges. A nose of cedar, rum, and slightly overbaked strawberry pie. Medium bodied, very dirty cranberries, sage and rosemary, a trace of cherries, rustic tannins, smoke and leather, and a really nice, long dry finish. Very enjoyable and worth the wait.
