Sunday, January 1, 2006 - This was a fantastic wine. It opened with sour cherry fruit but we left it for over an hour and it picked up more complexity adding notes of chocolate and expresso. This was a wine to savor after finishing our roast duck. The balance was right on contributing to a mouth coating long lasting finish. This could easily go another 5 to 10 years in the cellar. It is light, not CA style.
