Saturday, December 25, 2021 - Christmas at the Lodge: Krug's Grande Cuvée never disappoints. At 43% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 22% Pinot Meunier, the 169ème édition delightfully balances its creamy body with bright acidity and a fine mousse. Lemon zest, blossom, and marzipan dominate the nose, while hints of stone fruits and nuts on the palate point to an increasingly more complex wine in 10-20 years. Pop whenever: there are no losers here.
