Friday, December 31, 2021 - Golden color. Nose is rich and fresh -- fresh baked brioche, a hint of lemon, toasted nuts and a bit of apple. Silky mouthfeel. Initial impression is of the brioche and lemon curd, then hazelnuts, lime zest, a hint of cigar box and wet stones. This is a beautiful wine, that is not yet at peak. A great way to start the New Year.
