Thursday, January 6, 2022 - Nice bottle of Syrah, fully mature, tannins resolved, earthy, woodsy, mildly spicy bouquet, medium to long finish. PNP at Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant, Hillcrest, San Diego, Ca. A short decant would probably be in order as the wine did improve in the glass. Not going over the hill anytime soon, showing no signs of age. This bottle enjoyed perfect storage so keep that in mind when assessing my rating. I have 1 more bottle...Maybe try it with a Steak or Italian soon.
