Monday, February 7, 2022 - From Magnum. Very tight still. Served too cold by the host (out of the fridge), so it comes across a bit surly and with an unbalanced tartness and thinness to the body. As it warms up to room temp over an hour, it unfurls some delightful gruener aromatics of green apple, honeysuckle and unripe peach. It is very fine-boned in structure, with crystalline minerals, almost fragile seeming, with the malic tartness dialed back but still lurking in the background. Long and more-ish finish. Still needs time, and don't serve colder than cellar temp.
