Saturday, January 22, 2022 - More cool climate Spaniards, with a leaning towards the natural. A producer concentrating on native varieties, this being Brancellao, Caíño and Ferrol. Native yeasts, 6 months in French oak (none new, I believe).

A hell of a lot of flavour and colour for a wine of only 12.5%abv. Surprisingly, a lot of milk chocolate, a creamy texture, complimented by fresh raspberry and strawberry, delicious. Only low+ tannins (thin skinned grapes and destemming) and med acid (lower than expected). May have been better a year or so ago, with more vibrancy.
