Wednesday, March 2, 2022 - Second time having this wine over the past year and it was quite underwhelming this time around. I didn't have high expectations for a weeknight bottle, but it was quite closed and the oak never faded (even day 2). Day 2 the wine was much more approachable, but very oaky signaling that it wasn't ready to integrate. Maybe the bottle I had was a bit off, but for being in the top 100 wines of WS in 2020, this was a let down. Have 4 bottles left and will continue to try them over the course of the next several years, but probably won't touch another for at least 3-5 years so this can soften up (hopefully it will). My score was derived after day 2...
