Tuesday, March 3, 2009 - All kinds of vibrant dark fruits + some floral qualities on the nose. Also something that smells almost salty to me--not quite that, but not sure how to describe it. Hint of spice, some crushed dried flowers, but mostly just dark purple & blue fruit all over the palate. Little sweet wood there. Little smoke, slight coffee bean, dark fruit flavors on the finish. Nice tannins & a finish with good acid & decent flavors--good bottle, 85-86
