Saturday, March 5, 2022 - Good dark red colour with black/red core.
Typical smoky, dark fruited nose with a touch of herbs and nuts.
Palate is medium bodied, the structure shows thru more than the fruit. There is medium tannins and acidity, the wine is quite linear with firm fruit and some tobacco and smoky oak. I would like more richness and intensity in the middle palate. It is an old fashioned style of Bordeaux - which isn't a bad thing in itself - but it is a bit monolithic and simple.
