Saturday, March 5, 2022 - Drunk over 3 nights. With steak on 2, poached pheasant on the other.
A big hit of red and black fruit on the nose. Depth, and some tannin backing it all.
Better on first and third nights. Seemed a bit more angular on second. No Coravin used, wine had mellowed nicely by night 3 with smoother fruit. Fair bit of sediment.
A little more forward that I expected for a 2017, but still got a few years in it yet.
As ever, a dependable and top end CdR.
