Thursday, March 24, 2022 - High acidity and alcohol (14.5%). Needs 30 minutes to decant.

Color: Ruby

Nose: Ripe cherry, touch of grass, anise.

Body: Surprisingly light. Well structured, but a little thin.

Palate: Rich, but acidic. High tannins. Leather, dark cacao, dried fruit.

Finish: Tight but lingering.

Amazing with a NY strip. Plays well with the fat/tannins.

Needs a few years in the cellar.

Rating based on the fact that it's drinking young.
