Saturday, March 26, 2022 - Twin Cities Wine Club: Italian Tasting (Teresa's House (Minneapolis, MN)): Holly cow is this a big wine in a good way. Roasted chestnuts, dark berries, minerals, oak, cherry and limestone. Medium to long finish. A powerhouse of a wine. Will revisit this on day two to see if it is less intense. 92-94.
Day 2: Left Bank ringer on day 2 with gravel, funk, roasted chestnuts, blueberries, cherry and pencil shavings. Medium plus finish and concentrated. For sure will age for a while. 93+ points
Recommendation: Hold these until 2028.
