Tuesday, May 10, 2022 - At a family celebration, Buddina Beach. This wine remains a delightful blend of rich fruit and the fine austerity of DP. The colour remains pale and the nose is lifted with white pear, lemon, apple, wild strawberry, nougat and honey all present. The palate is quite rich but is well balanced by nicely austere minerality and acidity that persists beautifully. This is a fine wine which while not as striking as the 2008 brings tons of immediate pleasure.
