Saturday, May 14, 2022 - This wonderful PN was ready on opening. I expected it would die over the next two hours, but it just got better. Meatloaf, spinach, potato dinner complimented its great balance and depth well. What really surprised me was that it went extremely well with early strawberry shortcake and whipped cream. The tart but fruity berries greatly complemented the dry but very flavorful wine, without the bitterness I was expecting. Most surprising. I still have a couple of bottles left. I do not think it is a long keeper but is very delicious now.
