Monday, May 16, 2022 - Really tasting great right now !! I agree with my tasting note of 5 months ago !!
Nearly perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, easily removed. Consumed over two days. This balanced wine showed more fruit on the first day. On day two this wine had become flabby with dried fruit flavors. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of blackberry and flavors of dark berry compote and black tea. This Zin blend has a medium to long finish. Sadly, I have no bottles of this vantage remaining in my cellar. As always, a great winemaking effort from Linne Calodo.
