Sunday, May 29, 2022 - A very easy going summer drink that is perfect at a French bistro. Tasted from a restaurant’s half bottle and was a value performer. Not a complex wine but super approachable, great value, and quite aromatic with some interesting pear and quince notes. Even after an hour the fruit persisted along with very elegant acidity and salinity. Not strong like the big name producers, and not overtly mineral. But dead perfect with a French style pan seared petrale sole, zucchini almadine, and meyer lemon beurre blanc. I’ll take this wine over some run of the mill house Chardonnay.
