90 Points

Saturday, June 4, 2022 - Medium gold. My first Ultramarine. Aromatically offers some toast and lemon, but ultimately a bit muted -- even with air.

On the palate you get much more red berry, oxidized apple, yeast, and nuttiness. There's something about the mouthfeel... it's almost lightly tannic, or stringy.

It's clearly quite powerful but still in a relatively lean package. Enjoyable, and I definitely still want to try the BdB and rose, but maybe not worth the secondary market value IMO.

6/5/2022 8:50:00 PM - Thanks for the note! For sure get your hands on a BdB and Rose. The BdN is by far my least favorite of the 3. Cheers!
