Sunday, June 26, 2022 - I thought the 2019 Three Kings bottling was the best in years and I still feel that way, however the 2020 vintage is top-notch and maybe just a hair behind the 2019 at this early stage (6 weeks in the bottle). The color is a deep ruby purple, with a delightful nose. On the palate dark and perfectly ripened dark fruit, blue and blackberry, cassis and a touch of plum. This is a big, full bodied Cab that is solid, focused, very nice extraction and energetic. The 2020 Carters did not disappoint and the Three Kings release is a worthy wine indeed. 95+/96 Points
