94 Points

Saturday, July 2, 2022 - PnP. ABV 13.5%. Another punt recently from one of my favorite vintages. Nose was not entirely clean initially but the faint cardboard smell disappeared very quickly and left with dark soils and flowers. High acidity of the vintage was obvious on the first sip, good density and length, Grand Cru alright. Still some tannins hanging around, drinking well now and should cruise at this level for a while. This continued to add weight and soften the tannins over 3 hours, actually got better and better, deserved an upgrade in score.
