Saturday, July 2, 2022 - Wow!! This was so good. It smells more like a pinot noir of pedigree than gamay. Garnet red with no signs of age at the edges. Cranberry, red cherry, and spice on the nose. More cherry on the palate with raspberry and some clove. We drank this with a snack plate of olives, pita chips, whipped goat cheese and caprese salad. So good. And was lovely with second course of chicken and sausage gumbo. Low acid. Everything is well integrated in this bottle. I will definitely seek more to keep in the cellar.
