Tuesday, July 5, 2022 - A wonderful wine that is still very much alive and in its prime, showed the trademark Mint & Eucalypti™ but more remarkable for me was the dusty, spicy and pungent flavor of blackcurrant upon blackcurrant, with a mostly-resolved tannin that reminds me of blueberry leaf, when paired with the moderate acid reveals a bit of cola. Long finish. Brilliant with a filet and shiitakes. Deffo new world but old world in soul, a nice memoir of Napa past.
