Friday, July 15, 2022 - 12.5% alcohol. S 100%. Short cork, pretty dense. Medium colour with definite thinning at the rim.
The nose is refined with mostly red berries followed by some forest floor; so far so good. High pitched in the mouth (cranberries) with substantial acidity, and generally not as satisfying as on the nose; clearly a Northern CdR, as you would expect.
A pretty good wine, especially given its low status, but I would go for J-L's l'enclave any day.
