Thursday, July 21, 2022 - Slow oxed for 7 hours before serving yet it is still too tight. So I decanted the wine for 30 mins before serving. Nose is still quite shut yet palate shows strong core darkish red berry fruit. It has exceptional power and weight, almost grand-cru like. It is more like a 2016 instead of 2017. The wine still requires at least 5 years to enter its early drinking window. Be patient. Good potential.
