Friday, July 29, 2022 - Blind, fairly easy to spot as Roumier Chambolle, but it was so surprisingly open that I thought it could be anywhere between 09-19. This vintage is really a killer; so much denser and more structured without any more heaviness than other villages wines, my guess was actually Cras. Structure-wise, and I do not think this is true across all vintages for Roumier CM villages, this is easily at the spectrum of a higher-end premier cru. So much pleasure to drink. 93-94
