Saturday, December 5, 2015 - Very dirty, moldy and musty when first opened, with a dark golden color. I first feared this might be corked or otherwise damaged. With air this cleaned up. On day two it dramatically cleaned up on the palate, although a bit of a musty note remained on the nose. Lots of honey, dried peaches, spice and wool. The sweetness is subdued, but still quite noticeable, with the acidity level providing adequate, yet not riveting, balance. Good and interesting wine, yet not very exciting.
