Wednesday, September 26, 2018 - Deep gold color. Characteristic earthy chenin nose, accompanied by a lifted mineral and citrus nose. Decanted for an hour, and needs to be served cool, not cold. Brioche, orange peel, wet rocks, white flowers and apple peel. Barely sweet, but the intense mineral characteristics also make it seem bone dry at the same time. Had with cream sauce chicken - good pairing - but I can definitely see it with lobster.
