Tuesday, September 8, 2020 - This has just become a comtesse again! Out the drying tannins and reductive notes. It woke up up full of vibrant youth, vanilla, pencil shavings, plum and spicy sweetness so well characterizing this chateau. Maybe the petit verdot turned this around finally? Elegant, yet powerful, this holds up to any sort of food you throw at it, wonderful. And has more life in it, so, no hurry.
