Thursday, August 13, 2009 - Had a glass of this at the Inn at Little Washington, no formal notes. Nice honey color. Beautiful nose of pineapple, lychee, orange rind, a little minerality, and zesty spice. On the palate this was a little more subdued with quince, pineapple, citrus flavors, a little zesty spice on the end. Long finish, and a nice mouth feel without being too over the top. A good quality desert wine, but not what I was expecting from a d'Yquem. 50+5+13+17+7
