Tuesday, October 29, 2013 - My first (and likely only) Yquem. Rich golden color with lovely notes of honey, clear notes of botrytis, some floral notes, and ripe pear. The palate is super rich and concentrated and coats your mouth, but there is a reasonable acidity that keeps it fresh. The finish lasts for more than a minute. Impressive sauternes.
