Sunday, May 18, 2008 - Not decanted. Moderate golden yellow color. Lots of lemon, apricot and spice on the nose. Very light on the palate for Yquem, lacking the depth or richness I expect. Good acidity though. Flavors of mango, vanilla, coconut and lemon came through. The wine seems to lack botrytis. Moderate finish. A nice enough wine but hardly representative of Yquem.
