Monday, June 17, 2019 - It is difficult to be dispassionate when assessing any vintage from the estate, and I suspect that I would possibly score this slightly lower with another branded dessert wine. However, in spite of the year, its class shines through. Burnt caramel, honey, and glazed fruit dominate the nose and palate. It has good balance and depth with a decent finish. Ready to drink now, this has the structure to stay at this level for for many years to come.
