Tasted December 31, 2006 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Rot Wein glass. Purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of thistle, black cherries, plums and white pepper. Flavors of black cherries, black berries and black licorice on the finish. Integrated tannins, good acidity. Drink now.
