Tuesday, March 26, 2013 - Garnet all the way to the rim; served slightly warm; nose is dusty, sandy, round profile, dried red fruit, cedar, cherry, orangey acid on the finish, pronounced tannin. This has put on lots of weight and tannins are fighting for center stage compared to a bottle I had 2 years ago. Very good, but a little one dimensional and tannic at this point in its evolution. Give it a couple more years or decant for a while.
