Friday, February 4, 2022 - one hour slow ox in glass. Significant herbal and eucalyptus on the nose with nice cassis, french oak, and a bit of tobacco. Nice bright black currant fruit, sweet around the edges. Mature with just enough ripeness to state that this is in a really nice plateau. Lots of tertiary elements as this evolved through hour 3 with the fruit really shining. A terrific example of Clare Valley fruit - in perfect condition! Delightful!!
