Interesting nose with camphor, menthol, ripe plum, prunes and some sweetness that is normally found in more Amarone type wines. A brownish tone but otherwise ruby red. On the palate this was heavy and full bodied, but the interplay between acidity and tannins was slightly unbalanced. I suspect this is already slightly past the ideal drinking age. Nonetheless a decent effort from a (at least to me) lesser know producer.
