Friday, July 8, 2011 - Crisp and clean with for lack of a better term "Eiswein" freshness-suspended animation fruit profile. Great acidity, and fruit like fresh squeezed juice. This has the smoke and apricot flavors of pinot gris, with great clarity and freshness. Tonight day 14, it is richer and denser with more creme brulee, cashews, apricot preserves, caramel, and honey while maintaining its freshness and acidity. There is an excellent juxtaposition of creaminess matched with the acidity and clarity. Barely outstanding on the first day and stupidly good tonight. 95 pts
