Saturday, January 8, 2011 - A very smoky nose, buttressed with black pepper. The dark fruit follows and the candied blueberry and flowers rounds out all the aromas. The palate was more fruit driven, with cherry and blueberry standing out. The smoke and pepper was strong on the mid-palate, and the floral notes on the finish was nice.
