Tuesday, July 24, 2018 - Pop and pour and drank two glasses and reserved the remainder of the bottle for day 2. This wine is very Burgundian and reminiscent of a good Gevrey Villages. It's more on the earthy crunchy side and the fruit is somewhat reserved and playing in the background. Tannins are present but not at all troublesome. While I suspect this wine will improve there is absolutely no harm in drinking this now. I did not realize that Jamie had started making more retrained wines so long ago. Well done.
