Sunday, March 30, 2014 - Enjoyed with some stuffed pork chops and roasted sweet potato/apples. Has the backbone to age several more years with no issue but was quite enjoyable now. Did not decant but did open the bottle approximately 1 hour before pouring. No notes on the scent but I recall it to be cherry and cedar shavings. Cassis, smoke, earth flavor profile. Well structured. Did not disappoint.
