Friday, April 1, 2016 - Nose: The nose is aromatic and balanced with peaches, red apples, some petrol, apricots, floral tones, and a bit of honey. This is showing maturity, but there is still a good amount of vibrancy to the fruit.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity. There is excellent depth and balance with the acidity showing a refreshing quality. There is a honeyed quality to the tones of peaches, red apples, apricots, florals, and some caramel tones.

Overall: This is a lovely, mature Spatlese. There is still a good amount of freshness to the tones, but with a depth, balance, and refinement to it all. This is drinking beautifully right now and can sail along for a while longer.
