Thursday, May 19, 2011 - I tasted this at a wine tasting, and it was also a fabulous wine. It is medium bodied, 12.5% alcohol and has a light/medium ruby red color to it, it lightening at the rim, but no browning yet. It gave off aromas of mushrooms, red berries, roses, tobacco, slight hints of mint and spices. It tasted of red berries, cassis, tobacco, rose petals, slight mint and rhubarb. Nice long aftertaste! This wine is nowhere near finished, it has at least 10 to 20+ more years in it.
