Sunday, April 13, 2014 - Dark and quite brooding. Classic black pepper nose and dark ripe/v.ripe fruit with still firm tannins on opening. Extraction and warmth of vintage is evident in the rich, creamy, velvety fruit, but all (just about) kept in check by its acidity. All elements starting to meld with a good few years ahead of it.
