  Un nez fumé, avec un peu de fruit noir, de lard. En bouche, c’est équilibré, minéral, subtil et précis, mais il a eu besoin d’une bonne heure d’aération pour révéler ces qualités. J’aime bien, mais ça manque tout de même un peu de fruit et de concentration à mon goût. 88 pts

  Whilst it does taste like a Northern Rhone, a slightly super-charged one at that, there is something just a bit international about it. Still young, it has time in hand to prove me wrong but there are other producers I am more aligned with, without the need for time to iron out any differences of opinion.
  
  Happy to drink it again but would be slow to part with the green.

  Ruby with a garnet rim offering a focused nose of black fruit, pepper, meat and vanilla. Not shy on palate wiyh bright acidity, supple not completely ripe tannins and good length. A very descent St Joseph having the potential to improve over the next 3 years and keep further 3 to 4 more.
