Mouth-filling flavors of red cherries, road tar and leaves with acidity and very present tannins - wonderfully lithe mouthfeel belies the obvious power of this. Just a great bottle of wine. When taking a few bottles out of my inventory after getting home - I noticed I brought this wine to the same venue a few years ago to a memorable dinner we had in honor of David's beloved dog, Atlas - it's wonderfully fitting that David would bring this same wine tonight and it showed so well. WOTN
