Monday, May 7, 2012 - Classic Cali Cab. On the nose, dark fruit (blackberry), wet soil, leather, clove, and cinnamon. 'Round' palate...flavors of vanilla and bright cherry, along with a touch of tartness. Well-integrated tannins, lovely acidity throughout. Long finish. Medium-to-full bodied. Paired perfectly with beef meatballs & ragu sauce.
