Community Tasting Note

Friday, September 18, 2020 - At a blind tasting, theme was Merlot, minimum 10 years old. Obviously new world, all guessed California. Dark purple, no real signs of age. Nose had dark fruits, plums, cassis. Palate had some complexity, but one could really taste the alcohol. Long finish. Started off the tasting, was soon eclipsed. Not bad, not great.
