Friday, March 21, 2014 - "The darling of Sydney" they say... because Mc Williams Semillon Elizabeth is the bottle to have with you food at a restaurant on Sydney harbour front. Unlike the french stick and the camembert you eat when in France that doesn't taste as good when you bring it home and eat it in your front room... this is different!! This is great wine and has been aged before release and has this beautiful lime and steely flavour with crisp acidity which when left to open up develops a nutty flavour and added compexity. Wonderful stuff. Find it in Tesco and try it out. It has many years ahead to develop further.
