Friday, June 5, 2015 - Decanted briefly (lots of sediment); two bottles on the same night. This is a good wine, mature and complex, aged cigar, pistachio nut shell, red currant fruit that is slightly dried out. The initial nose has a pineapple/apricot note that I credit to the Viognier. Otherwise it's like a sweeter/riper Barbaresco. To me both bottles presented slightly past peak. Drink now.
